Roots Before Branches

about us

our mission

THE flame is already yours

There is a flame within every person — the truest part of who we are, often covered by habits we did not choose.

Tribodhi's mission is to reawaken that flame, guiding each person back to their true nature through the practice of Yoga and Ayurveda, while cultivating respect for oneself, for others, and for nature.

This is not a journey walked alone. For 21 days, you live alongside others who have chosen the same return — shared moments, not performed ones: a meal, a silence, a circle.

What is lit here does not stay here. Those who plant their practice at Tribodhi carry the flame home — to their own community, their own students, their own circle.

Tri + Bodhi

Tri + Bodhi

TRI — the triangle, the most ancient geometric symbol within the yogic practice. A shape with no weak point, each side holding the other two.

BODHI — the sacred tree beneath which seekers have found stillness for millennia. The tree beneath which the Buddha found awakening.

Together, Tribodhi is a tree with three roots — a name that carries both the geometry of balance and the stillness of awakening, planted in one word.

the chef

Alejandra

With specialized training in gluten-free and plant-based cuisine, Alejandra brings a thoughtful, nourishing approach to every dish. She is currently studying Ayurvedic nutrition, deepening her understanding of food as medicine and bringing that knowledge directly into the kitchen at Tribodhi — shaping menus around what nourishes rather than simply what satisfies. She carries the spirit of Annapurna, the Hindu goddess of nourishment, in how she cooks: with devotion, not performance. Her meals are simple, yet quietly extraordinary, built from ingredients chosen with the same care as everything else in the training. In every step of the process, from the first ingredient to the final plate, you can taste the care she puts into making them.

the teacher

Shankari

A seasoned guide grounded in the ancient Vedic tradition, with expertise in meditation, yoga therapy, tantra, mindfulness, and transformational coaching. With over 20 years of personal practice and more than 15 years teaching, Shankari blends sacred texts, spiritual philosophy, and embodied practice into a journey that honors both timeless wisdom and your unique path. She carries the spirit of Saraswati, the Hindu goddess of wisdom, speech, and the transmission of truth — teaching not as instruction, but as knowledge passed the way it always has been, teacher to student. Her devotion to each student doesn't end when the training does; many return to her guidance for years afterward, long after they've left the mat.

the facilitator

Chiara

A compassionate space holder and intuitive facilitator of inner work. She is an Ayurvedic practitioner, and it was in Ayurveda that she found her own way of living — a daily discipline she now brings directly into the training, in the Ayurveda classes she teaches, in how she designs the space and rhythm of each program, and in the option to explore Ayurvedic treatments during the time off. She carries the spirit of Tripura Sundari, the Hindu goddess who holds everything together — governing harmony, leading without force, and integrating wisdom, love, and power into everything she touches. It is this same quiet authority that shapes how she holds the group: creating order and beauty out of twenty-one days, without ever needing to impose it.

What Sets Us Apart

What Sets Us Apart

Rooted In Tradition

Guided by a teacher with over 20 years in the Vedic lineage — not a weekend certification, a lifetime of practice.

Food as Part of the Teaching

Every meal is prepared with the same intention as every asana — nourishment as care, not just catering.

Ayurveda, Lived Daily

Not a single lecture topic — dosha awareness shapes the actual rhythm of each day you're here.

A Framework, Not Just a Curriculum

Body, mind, and community aren't taught as separate units — they shape every single day of the training, together.
